The excitement of the Transmed World Cup 2023 continued with the quarterfinal matches after the group stage. The leader of Group A, Lebanon A, faced off against the fourth-placed team from Group B, Lebanon B. The second-placed team from Group A, Morocco, played against the third-placed team from Group B, Jordan. The winner of Group B, Ivory Coast, competed against UAE CG, and the second-placed team from Group B, Turkey, faced off against the third-placed team from Group A, Saudi Arabia.
In the first quarter final match of the day, between two teams from the same country, the true winners were friendship and sportsmanship. Lebanon A started the game with their attacking style of play and goal-oriented mentality, just like in the group stage matches. Effective players such as Ali Nasereddine, Elie Hanna, and Hussein Hammoud started creating chances through passing. Lebanon A made a energic start as Elie Hanna scored in the fourth minute to break the deadlock (1-0). Lebanon A, not slowing down their tempo for a moment, found their second goal through forward Ali Nasereddine (2-0). After the goals, Lebanon A switched to a more secure style of play but faced the attacks of Lebanon B. Lebanon B, finding more opportunities in their offensive plays, scored a goal through Naim Hammoud (2-1). Lebanon A, changing their game and approach after conceding a goal, secured their spot in the semi finals with two more goals from star player Ali Nasereddine (4-1).
The second quarterfinal match of the day was between Morocco and Jordan. Both teams stood out with their solid defense, just like in the group matches. The match had a tactical battle on the field with few scoring opportunities. The teams couldn't find the net in the first half, and the score remained 0-0 at halftime. Morocco made more chances in the second half after making player substitutions. Y. Bousenna scored the crucial goal that opened the door to the semifinals (1-0).
Turkey, known for their goal-scoring ability, faced Saudi Arabia, who showcased their team play, in the third quarterfinal match. The first ten minutes of the game saw attacks from both sides. Turkey intensified their attacks and switched to a more positive style of play, taking the lead with a splendid goal from Hasan Hüseyin Demir (1-0). The spectators were treated to a thrilling second half. Captain Servet Akcan scored a goal from a penalty, and Mehmetcan Enez, wearing jersey number 97, added two more goals, bringing the score to 4-0. Ateeq, the dynamo of the midfield, impressed with his versatile play between offense and defense. Saudi Arabia's sole goal came from Rami (4-1). The player who determined the final score was forward Hasan Hüseyin Demir (5-1).
In the last quarterfinal match of the day, Ivory Coast, known for their sportsmanship and fair play, faced UAE CG. Led by captain Leon, Ivory Coast continued their direct attacking mentality that they had showcased throughout the tournament. Playmaker Satchie Franck embellished his effective performance with two goals, just like in the group stage matches (2-0). UAE CG's captain Amer Khatib and Imad Sberty failed to convert their chances. In the final minutes of the match, UAE CG, leaving gaps in their defense, couldn't prevent Ngoran Jean-Iuc, who came on as a substitute, from scoring, and the match ended 3-0.
After the quarter-finals, where a total of 15 goals were scored, Lebanon A team and Turkey were matched in the semi-finals, while Morocco and Ivory Coast teams matched.
