The Transmed World Cup 2023, an event that takes place every four years and is open to all employees of Transmed working in its branches worldwide, kicked off on Saturday, May 6, 2023, with the group stage matches. The event took place at Istanbul Technical University's football field, and the participating countries and teams in Group B were Ivory Coast, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon B, and UAE FS. The race for the top spot in the group continued until the last second of the final match. With a close balance of power and intense competition, Ivory Coast team emerged as the group leader with 8 points, thanks to their advantage in goal difference (scored goals minus conceded goals). Turkey and Jordan teams also gathered 8 points each. Turkey secured the second place with a better goal difference, while Jordan team took the third spot. Lebanon B team and UAE FS team completed the group stage with 1 point each, and the ranking was determined once again by goal difference. The competition in Group B demonstrated the importance of every scored and conceded goal, with teams showcasing their utmost strength and determination.

In the first match of the group, Lebanon B faced the host country Turkey. The match, which had a high level of excitement and tempo, started with both teams launching attacks in the initial minutes. Turkey team increased their attacks and managed to create important chances, but Lebanon B team successfully defended and ended the first half with a 0-0 score. Captain Naim Hammoud was among the key figures in the Lebanon B team, motivating and ensuring the team's concentration. The host country Turkey started the second half with a attacking style and found the goal they were seeking through Mehmetcan Erez in the 26th minute (0-1). Following the goal, Lebanon B took more risks and left defensive gaps, which were exploited by Hasan Hüseyin Demir to determine the final score of the match (0-2).

In the second match of the day in Group B, Jordan and Ivory Coast teams faced each other. It was evident from the moment they stepped onto the field that both teams had prepared specifically for the tournament. Jordan team caught attention with their organized gameplay and composure, while Ivory Coast was expected to rely on their physical superiority and particularly fast players to achieve a positive outcome. The match remained balanced throughout, with both teams launching attacks. The third match featured Turkey and UAE FS teams. From the first whistle, Turkey displayed a dominant and attacking performance. They found their goals in quick succession through Hasan Hüseyin Demir in the 12th and 13th minutes (0-2). The synergy between Hasan Hüseyin and Mehmetcan Enez in the forward line was remarkable. The host country Turkey continued to increase the pressure in the second half, considering the dynamics within the group. In the 21st minute, Mehmetcan Enez extended the lead to 3-0. UAE FS's influential player, Majdi Dahkoul, failed to convert several goal-scoring opportunities. Towards the end of the match, taking advantage of UAE FS players pushing forward as a team, Turkey team capitalized on the situation with goals from Servet Akcan and Soner Kaya, securing a 5-0 victory.

In the fourth match of the competitive Group B, Lebanon B and Jordan teams faced off. Lebanon B team started the match with a higher tempo and intensified their attacks, but Jordan team took the lead 0-1 through a counter-attack goal by Mohannad Abu Radaha. Jordan's forward line took more risks and made great efforts to secure a victory. Towards the end of the first half, Taha Abu Dayeh, wearing the number 9 jersey, scored a superb goal, making it 0-2. In the second half, Lebanon B team struggled to be effective in the attacking third. Jordan team, maintaining their tempo throughout the match, extended the lead to 0-3 with a successful goal by their number 7 in the 25th minute, earning their first three points in the tournament.

Ivory Coast, one of the strong teams in Group B, faced UAE FS, a team that stood out for their fair play behavior in the tournament. Ivory Coast team started the match with great pace, and the synergy between Baho Rodrigue, Die Christian, and Satchie Frank was valuable. Ivory Coast increased their attacks and took a 0-1 lead thanks to a major mistake by an opponent player. Afterwards, Satchie Franck and Die Christian scored goals, making it 0-3. Christian, one of the most valuable forwards in the tournament, scored a stylish goal in the 13th minute (0-4). As the balance in the group was shaping up with the number of goals scored, teams were striving to score more. As the sixth matches of Group B were about to begin, all teams were closely matched in terms of points. This match, which was one of the most crucial for the balance of the group, started with great support from the home crowd for Turkey. Turkey quickly took the lead in the second minute with a goal by Emir Yiğit, energizing the atmosphere. In this highly competitive match with intense attacks and strong determination from both sides, Jordan equalized in the fifth minute with a goal by Taha Abu Dayeh (1-1). Turkey, displaying a fast start in the second half as well, regained the lead through their prominent forward player Hasan Hüseyin Demir (2-1). In the last 10 minutes of the match, which saw a physical battle and intense action, spectators closely followed the teams' struggle. In the dying moments of the game, Jordan intensified their pressure, and Mohannad Abu Radaha scored a last-minute goal to level the score at 2-2.

In the seventh match of the group, the team that would secure the final ticket for the quarter-finals was determined. Both teams played cautiously and defensively in the first half, preventing any breakthroughs. As attacks increased in the second half, the team captains, Naim Hammoud for Lebanon B and Elias Jarioura for UAE FS, played crucial roles in maintaining their teams' focus on the field. The match ended without any goals, and the teams shared the points (0-0).

In the match that would determine the leader of Group B, Turkey and Ivory Coast faced each other. From the moment the referee blew the whistle, the excitement, action, competition, determination, and concentration in the match never diminished, not even for a second. The talented and technical forward line of the home team, Turkey, was stopped by Ivory Coast goalkeeper Yepoh Geoffroy. Both teams, with their key players, adopted a safer approach and focused on maintaining a high passing game in this critical match. The match ended goalless, with both teams earning a point and waiting for the rankings based on goal difference (0-0).

It was now time for the match between Jordan and UAE FS in Group B, where critical matches were played. Jordan started the match by pressuring UAE FS with their important attacking players, but they faced a solid and rigid defensive strategy from the UAE FS team. The score remained balanced in the first half for both teams. Jordan started the second half with a different tactical approach, and they reaped the rewards as their captain and playmaker, Taimour Yhya, scored in the 18th minute (1-0). In the closing stages of the match, Jordan further increased their attacks and scored through Taha Abu Dayeh and Mohammad Mustafa (0-3).

All attention and focus were now on the final match of Group B. This match had a high level of interest and excitement as it could affect the rankings of all teams in the group. Ivory Coast started the match with all their talented attacking players but failed to convert several attacks into goals. They finally found the breakthrough in the tenth minute with a goal from their forward player, Die Christian (0-1). Their skilled and technical playmaker, Satchie Frank, scored a beautiful goal, making it 0-2. Die Christian added two more goals, completing a hat-trick, with his fantastic bicylce kick being a strong contender for the tournament's best goal (0-3).
